The applications are posted on the state web-site. Remember, if you plan to attend Okeechobee,
get your application in very early as they sell out early every year.
Just a friendly reminder that the Okeechobee Samboree always fills up quickly,
so if you are planning to go, get you application in as soon as possible. Also,
remember that starting with the Okeechohee applications that they must be
sent to Bob Ward.

The below information was sent to me by the Pubah for anyone that
might be interested in this book.
I am a Good Sam Club member (#030852446) and have written a book titled
"Traveler's Guide for Emergency Alerts". With all the horrible weather
the nation seems to be having on a regular basis, this book is could be a
traveler's best friend! Everyone has been away from home when the TV, radio
or weather alert announces an emergency alert "by counties". When traveling,
we don't have a clue what county we're in. This book lists all fifty states with
cities that have campgrounds and tells what "county" they're in. If a county
does not have a campground, I used the county seat so every county in the
U.S. is in this book. The book is 400 pages and retails for $24.95. However, as a
group rate I will sell them to your club for $15.00 for six or more. Individual
prices for Good Sam members is $20.00 per book.

My book has received praise from FEMA, Emergency Management and Vicki
Kieva (Good Sam Magazine). Vicki is going to do an article in her column in
Highways magazine about the importance of this book. She told me at the
Tampa RV show after seeing my book that she won't travel without it. The FMCA
editor has also informed me they are going to do an article on the book. I have
been invited to an Emergency Management Expo in Florida because the
importance of my book. If your Good Sam chapter would like some brochures
on the book, let me know how many and what address to mail them to. Or if
